We are accepting applications for an Electronic Design Specialist (Website Coordinator) within the Division of Wildlife, headquartered in Franklin County within the state of Ohio.  The work location address is: 2045 Morse Rd. What you will do…

• Provides computer generated graphic design and visual communications services (e.g., manages content, design, and marketing/communication strategies) for the Division of Wildlife;     


• 
  

  Uses website development software and other appropriate communication technology to publish content related to hunting, fishing, trapping, and wildlife conservation and recreation, maintain continuity of themes, streamline navigation, and increase the agency’s online presence to the public;

  Develops and plans visual concept procedures for website content approval (e.g. content creation, timelines, formatting, design) with various Division programs (e.g., fish, wildlife, law enforcement, federal aid, outdoor skills); 

  
  


• Performs duties using photo editing software and hyper-text markup language (HTML) on personal computers; works with ODNR communications and information technology departments to create and manage content on agency websites;

• Creates and produces print materials for special promotions (e.g., performs research and analysis of customer data (e.g., collected via website analytics, email engagement results, surveys, and evaluations)) to monitor customer trends and identify new opportunities for outreach;


• Monitors, troubleshoots and responds to customer inquiries regarding the website and electronic communications; maintains files and records of work.

Completion of undergraduate core program in visual communications with emphasis on graphic design/industrial design and/or fine arts; 24 months training or 24 months experience in website/web page creation, design and/or development.

-Or completion of associate core program in graphic visual communication technology or multimedia production technology; 36 months training or 36 months experience in website/web page creation, design and/or development.

-Or 36 months training or 36 months experience in electronic graphic design; 12 months experience with hyper-text markup language for website/web page design and/or development.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
