Here's where you come in:


We are looking for a Director of Platform Services Strategy and Operations located in Seattle, WA.Serves as the "right-hand" partner with the President, Platform Services, and CFOfor all Platform Services matters concerning business planning, execution, leadership effectiveness, communication, and collaboration.



You're great at:


Program Management



  • Manage the Annual Planning for the Platform Services area, to include:

    • Communications

    • Process, tools, schedule

    • Collaboration with FP&A for financial modeling and budgeting

    • Collaboration with other McKinstry entities

    • KPI development and alignment with CEO KPIs



  • Manage Platform Services business execution insights and reporting process, to include:

    • Work with PDMO and others to enable Platform Services units to manage the business in a highly data driven and predictive manner.

    • Enable the leveraging of real-time reports and dashboards as appropriate.



  • Manage the process for Platform Services priority setting, capacity planning and sequencing, as well as the ongoing management of the overall process.

  • Manage ad hoc strategic programs, projects, and initiatives in support of the Platform Services.

  • Manage a team responsible for coordination, project management, change management, and strategy supporting the Platform Services team and enterprise.

  • Collaborate with Platform Services senior team members to determine and prioritize business strategies.

  • Provide department leaders with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork.

  • Determine key performance indicators and how to measure team performance.


Business Planning



  • Participate in the Senior Leadership rhythm/process for the Platform Services units to include:

    • Report out on performance on KPIs monthly.

    • Report out on priorities, capacity, and sequencing on a quarterly basis.

    • Work with Platform Services strategic initiative owners to complete/refine their operating plans.

    • Work with other entities strategic initiative owners to help ensure Platform Services units' are fully coordinated with their plans.

    • Work with Operating Companies to ensure Foundational Element plans are fully coordinated with Platform Services plans.



  • Help ensure the Platform Services senior management leadership rhythm/process is efficient, purposeful, and effective.

  • Help ensure that an appropriate change management plan is in place for all major change initiatives within the Platform Services units.

  • Provide advice and counsel, as appropriate, to the President and the Platform Services leaders.


Perform other duties as assigned.



What we would like to see from you:



  • Fifteen (15+) years of experience in business planning, finance, and related facilitation required.

  • Five (5+) years of experience in an executive role with strategic business responsibilities required.

  • Shared Services leadership experience in a matrix organization of over 500 people.

  • P&L management experience with a budget of over $200M.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (active listening, clear communication, effective feedback) required.

  • Deep understanding of general business operations required.

  • Demonstrated skill at influencing senior leaders required.

  • Strong ability to teach, mentor and facilitate high-level teams required.

  • Strong problem-solving ability required.

  • Master's degree in Business.
