Job Description

The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor  will support our site in Columbia, SC. The Equipment Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for coordinates activities of personnel engaged in the troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance of manufacturing equipment in order to attain goals consistent with cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Coordinates daily department activities in order to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.



• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.

  Forecasts operating costs of department and directs preparation of budget requests.

  
  

  Coordinates daily department activities in order to maximize equipment utilization and support production needs.

  
  



• Establishes preventative maintenance schedules.




• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.

  Coordinates maintenance activities with other functional groups such as engineering and operations.

  
  

  Selects and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the departmental function

  
  



• Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.




• Administer safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees.

  Reviews and establishes material, equipment, and manpower resource requirements.

  
  

  Generates maintenance logs and other operations metrics.

  
  
  
  

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• +4 years of equipment maintenance supervisory role in an automated industrial environment


• Manufacturing industry experience.


• Strong communication and negotiation skills


• Experience in a regulated industry


• Travel required – Initially around 50%

Here are a few of our preferred experiences:

• Experience with the medical device manufacturing industry is highly preferred


• BS in Engineering or similar degree
