Position Objective

Interactive Installers at Macprofessionals install a range of audio visual technology in onsite customer environments in support of educational or business objectives. Products include interactive whiteboards, interactive LCD panels, interactive projectors, audio amplification and distribution systems, microphones, speakers, as well as a associated cabling

Essential Job Functions

• Installation of whiteboards, panels, screens, projectors, televisions, document cameras, and audio systems.


• Installation, termination, maintenance and testing of audiovisual systems.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)

• Reliable transportation


• Experience with construction or rough carpentry


• Expertise with hand tools and power tools


• Familiarity with low-voltage cable type and users


• Excellent communication skills and be able to work and think independently and meet deadlines


• Requires the ability to lift 50-60 lbs, overhead


• Must be able to climb ladders up to 20 feet


• Must be able to work evenings


• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications

• High school diploma or GED required
