Summary:
Dexcom is searching for a motivated and accomplished professional to join a rapidly growing company aimed at improving the lives of those with diabetes. The Sr. Portfolio Analyst will assist R&D PMO organization in administration and analytical aspects of organizational portfolio. A successful candidate will lead resource management in matrix environment, and support PMO organization with managing product roadmaps and project prioritization. Demonstrates effective stakeholder management and promotes effective communication.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages Project Portfolio (PPM) administration. Owns Analytical and Reporting functionality around the Product Development Portfolio, Resource Management, Product Development Roadmaps
Manages the health of the PPM Tool ecosystem and manages the processes to maintain the accuracy of the cloud-based datasets and provides SME and best practice guidance to the Daptiv (Changepoint) PPM user community
Identifies and actions continuous improvements or enhancements to R&D PMO and Portfolio related processes managed through Project Portfolio Management tools
Provides PPM training and coaching to Resource Managers across departments. Generates guidelines and compiles best practices.
Facilitates management of project budgets, leveraging PPM tool analytics
May suggest the appropriate metrics to ensure the organization performs at a high level. Develops the necessary reporting and/or analytical infrastructure to effectively measure these areas
Demonstrates effective stakeholder management and promotes effective communication
Other duties may be assigned as required
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 5-8 years related experience or Master's degree and 2-5 years equivalent experience
We are looking for a candidate with the knowledge of PMO disciplines including Demand Management, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, Program Management, Project Management, and Financial Management
2-5 years of planning and/or in software/tools administration experience preferred
Experience with managing Changepoint/Daptiv and Smartsheet is strongly preferred
Experience with implementing, managing, and improving portfolio and project management tools
Strong background in data analytics, reporting, and data presentation
Experience or education in statistics, reporting, process definition, and process improvement
PMP certification is a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, multi-tasking, negotiation, problem-solving, verbal, written and communication skills
Ability to work with time constraints and handle stressful situations in a calm and professional manner
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to achieve business objectives

Workplace Type:
The Workplace Type for this role is Flex. Based on the nature of your position you will be working onsite approximately 2-3 days per week from collaborative space and hoteling desks at our Dexcom sites. You will need to be located within commuting distance (typically 75 miles/120km) of your assigned Dexcom site.
