As an HR Manager at Southern HealthCare, you will be a part a Corporate HR team that manages and administers the HR function. Responsibilities of the position include:



  • Serving as a subject matter specialist in HR legal compliance, policy interpretation, staff engagement, employee relations, staff retention, and performance management

  • Providing education and guidance to leadership and field HR staff, ensuring a positive and engaged culture

  • Providing dispute resolution and managing situations to create positive outcomes

Southern Healthcare Management is a privately-owned organization that provides operational guidance and support of 41 Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers across NC, GA and FL. With oversight of approximately 5,000 nurses, aides, therapists, office staff and management, we manage situations to create positive outcomes for the residents and patients we serve.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field required.

  • Ten (10+) years of HR experience required. Work history should show a steady career progression in the field of HR.

  • One (1+) years of experience managing the HR function across multiple site locations required.

  • Prior HR experience in a healthcare setting a plus.

  • Must be computer proficient with experience navigating Microsoft Windows, Internet-Based Programs and HR Systems. UKG (UltiPro and Kronos) and Indeed experience a plus.

  • SPHR or other relatable Professional Certification in HR a plus.

  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.

  • Personal transportation and insurance available for business required. Mileage reimbursement is available.

  • This position will be assigned to our North Region centers located throughout NC, GA and coastal FL. Travel is estimated at 80% of the time with overnights as needed. Daily travel will be heavily based in the Raleigh-Durham NC area. Overnights include Macon and Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville to Titusville to Orlando, FL). The ideal candidate must be a resident of the Raleigh-Durham area due to proximity of the centers.
