The Loan Assistant is responsible for assisting the Portfolio Managers and Credit Managers with various loan administration tasks including tickler administration, customer/borrower inquiries, loan origination administration, and other loan portfolio administration duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Provides general assistance to the Credit and Portfolio Management team
Works closely with Credit Analyst and Portfolio Manager to ensure financial packages are complete
Manages financial reporting and covenant ticklers as directed by Portfolio Manager
Assists borrowers with payoffs, loan advances, and other general inquiries
Ensures electronic loan files set up, complete, and imaged in a proper and timely fashion
Works closely with the Portfolio Manager in the initial preparation of Letters of Interest, Letters of Approval, and other written correspondences
Engages site inspections, Westlaw Reports, credit reports, UCC searches and other 3rd party reports as needed basis
Performs other duties and tasks as requested by the Credit Manager or Director.
Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent credential required
Familiar with commercial lending terminology
At least 12 months experience in a lending administration environment
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and easily change priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
2-year college program (AA Degree in Business Administration)
Knowledge of CASH Suites, Sales Force and FIS Horizon a plus
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), ad lending software applications and
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal colleagues and external clients and
