Product Owner I

POSITION SUMMARY


The Product Owner III will drive the release of new features that span a variety of business functions, whether introducing operational improvements, furthering our technical capabilities, or enhancing our customer experience. They will play a key role in identifying business opportunities within their vertical and engaging with the appropriate agile sprint teams in releasing features to best address those business needs.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS



  • Identify business opportunities through direct engagement with clients and other external stakeholders as well as market research efforts

  • Engage internal stakeholders as appropriate in gathering additional business requirements

  • Drive requirements prioritization activities within their agile sprint team(s)

  • Assist in user research efforts as needed alongside UX/UI Designers

  • Participate in key sprint events (sprint planning, backlog refinement, and review/demos)

  • Identify success metrics to measure feature effectiveness

  • Produce marketing collateral in conjunction with the appropriate business departments as part of release rollout

  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on release outcomes


POSITION QUALIFICATIONS


Education



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field and/or equivalent work experience desired


Skills & Experience



  • 8-12 years' experience working on B2B or B2B2C, SAAS-based product teams desired

  • Scrum / agile certification a plus

  • Experience in a healthcare-related field a plus

  • Experience in any of the following tools preferred:

  • Google Analytics / Firebase

  • Hubspot

  • JIRA / Confluence

  • Smartsheet

  • Tableau

  • Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams

  • Agile methodologies

  • Prioritizing requirements

  • Preparing presentations for all levels of stakeholders, from colleagues to C-level

Salary: $84,989 - 143,347 annually
