RH is hiring a Staff Accountant to work closely with our Senior Leader, Accounting and Controller to ensure the integrity of the general ledger, and participate in month-end and closing reconciliations. The person in this position will have the opportunity to work on special projects around the implementation and recommendation of new procedures and policies as we continue to expand the RH product offering and move into new verticals.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Month-end Close Support to include:
  
  
  • Review journal entries provided by the Finance team and analyze and independently assess for reasonableness and adherence to RH company policies and GAAP; where appropriate, make recommendations for changes and corrections
  • Prepare account reconciliations within Blackline, ensuring all items are supported and properly classified in accordance with RH company policies and GAAP; make recommendations to management when discrepancies are found
  • Analyze account fluctuations each period and document variance analysis for management review
  • Utilize Blackline to manage month end close tasks and progress
  
  
• Ability to perform other general accounting duties and assist the accounting department as required while applying company policies and GAAP to tasks, with minimal to no supervision
• Prepare and provide support for year-end audit, including preparing audit schedules and requested documentation

OUR REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting environment preferred
• CPA preferred
• Quick learner of software applications used in accounting
• Demonstrates a \"can-do\" and \"will do\" attitude
• Oracle experience preferred
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to follow-through
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Self-starter with a successful record of working independently as well as working closely with other team member
• Highly-motivated personality, with ability to get into the detail while understanding the big picture and objective
