The Rental Sales Manager is responsible for developing and managing the rental and used sales operations in Colorado, New Mexico, and West Texas. The Rental Sales Manager will focus on electrical power and compressed air solutions. Responsibilities include identifying market needs, designing effective sales strategies, developing relationships with key customer personnel, hiring, training, coaching, managing, evaluating personnel. In addition, this position is responsible for increasing customer satisfaction, forecasting, designing, and allocating territories and managing sales transactions to obtain efficient and profitable growth within Wagner Equipment Co.'s. Power Systems Division.

Develops, maintains, and implements strategy for overall territory coverage using customer analysis, construction reports and CRM information
Sets and reviews annual CRM targets for rental sales team
Determine rental rates based on market conditions
Analyzes rental opportunities for new products
Understands and utilizes profit and loss statements
Assists credit manager with issues on aging accounting status of customers and helps with past due accounts
Reviews monthly slow rent report and recommends action items
Communicates with sales, marketing and other areas as needed
Communicates large project and customer opportunities and other relevant data
Coaches salesmen on standards of performance in regard to territory coverage and planning, sales call expectations, equipment applications, and problem solving
Develops and maintains professional relationships with both internal and external customers
Actively shares relevant information to be more effective with our team and our customers
Communicates in a fashion that fosters effective interaction with others
Maintains proactive and creative posture to increase rental sales activity
Fosters relationships with Allied vendors
Develop partnerships with other CAT dealers to facilitate re-renting of equipment
Achieves annual rental and sales revenue targets
Passes sales leads to the equipment sales department through Saleslink
Makes key customers visits to grow relationships
Completes ride-alongs with Rental Representatives
Possesses strong working knowledge of SalesLink, iRental, iRental Mobile, and DBS
Maintains a technical knowledge and application of all rental products
Monitor fleet utilization and performance monthly
Develop annual fleet plan and manage inventory levels
Technical knowledge of rental equipment and applications
Continual improvement focus using CAT Rental Excellence Certification as benchmark

3-5 years technical/mechanical experience
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License

Pay Rate: Starting at: $90,716.81 annually
