Production Admin. - Logistics/Shipping

Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Pay rate: $24.90/hr

Note: Starting pay is $22.41/hr during 90 workday probationary period.

While reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for all logistics activities for the Core Plant. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have an Associates/Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years office/administrative experience. Basic computer skills including competency with Microsoft Office programs are necessary. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Responsible for accuracy of logbook/load sheets


• Reviews production of shipments run after hours to verify correct quantity & items


• At month end, responsible for supplying accounting with all needed inventory information, production summaries, and summary reports concerning truck shipments


• Checks finished goods inventories daily to verify balances. Counts and reconciles month-end inventory


• Coordinates stock to be pulled from inventory


• Coordinates scrap returns with customers


• Verifies computer produced inventories with orders each day


• Serves as contact for plant customer and logistics-related issues


• Board Reconciliation


• Supports Inventory Reconciliation

This position is in our Core plant in beautiful Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

• Previous experience in paper industry is extremely helpful


• You have to have a "get it done" attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasks


• To succeed in this role, you will need excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Working independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is needed


• You need to have working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements


• Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a mus.


• You will need to be able to sit for 5-7 hours and occasionally walk up to 1 hour daily


• Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success


• You will need to able to perform daily repetitious duties, including working on computers for 5-7 hours


• You will need to have the ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to detail


• You need to be able to lift/carry up to 30# of office supplies/records


• No prior manufacturing experience required
