Job Description

* Preparation, scanning, indexing, verification, and recycling of records
* Identification and interpretation of requirements found in desk guides and site procedures
* Effectively communicate, both verbal and written, with management, colleagues and customers
* Maintain accurate accounting of duties performed using provided tools
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and Experience:
* High School diploma (or equivalent)
* Two (2) years clerical or administrative experience

Skills and Abilities:
* Ability to work and meet deadlines with limited supervision
* Experience performing data entry document processing, and techniques for quality checking work products
* Adapt quickly and multitask
* Proficiency in current version Microsoft Office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
* Strong keyboarding skills
* Attention to detail

Desired Skills:

* Familiarity with IDMS, RIMScan, DMCS, or SPF
* Previous Hanford work experience in document processing, imaging, records management, or document control
* Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional converting documents to PDF and applying optical character recognition (OCR) technology to scanned images
* Familiarity with records management, configuration control, and document control requirements
* Experience creating quality digital images with high volume scanning equipment
