The Warehouse Operations Manager plans, directs and controls warehouse scheduling, staffing, allocation, and communication functions to effect economical utilization of warehouse operations team and facility.The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for all facets of warehouse operations including training and execution per customer requirements, compliance, and auditing performance, as well as building and maintaining customer relationships.
Duties and responsibilities
Must have the ability to interact with major high-end clients that include America's most well respected retail leaders.
Lead by providing well-organized and efficient coordination in quality-driven work environment.
Be task-oriented, self-disciplined, formal, able to make objective decisions and play a key role in leading customer satisfaction.
Ability to be accommodating, flexible, imaginative, and concerned with timeliness and accuracy.
Possess strong communication skills that will contribute to the business as you maintain positive rapport with client contacts, customer superintendents, sales, support staff, and contractors.
Expert in OSHA, DOT.
Qualifications
Ability to be cooperative, detail oriented, hands-on, poised, and conscientious.
Experience with Owner Operators and/or Independent Contractors is preferred.
Experience with Appliance Delivery preferred.
Should have the ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits.
