Senior Financial Systems Analyst at Bio-Rad Laboratories in Hercules, California

Job Description:

We have an immediate need for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst in our corporate headquarters located in Hercules, CA. This role reports to the Financial Systems Manager.

The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be a key member of the growing Corp FP&A team. You will partner with finance and business partners to improve our PBCS management reporting system, assist in the monthly financial close, and provide ad hoc systems support. You will interface with financial management in business units, overseas, and at the corporate headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Support the analysis, design, and management reporting of company-wide financial data.


• Ensure timely and accurate generation of reports, maintain consistency and standardization amongst the various types of reports and databases.


• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise.


• Provide PBCS user support during planning, forecasting, and day-to-day operations. Primary user support for over 200 users.


• Maintain master data and keep business hierarchies in sync.


• Participate in the design and rollout of new system functionality to power users and end-users.


• Development and maintenance of web forms, data grids, task lists and other templates.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must have a technical aptitude to maintain automated financial systems.


• We are looking for a Senior Financial Systems Analyst with a solid business acumen, customer service, and exceptional communication skills.


• Strong analytical background with strict attention to detail.


• Highly motivated, technically proficient person with a strong sense of ownership and business ethics to deliver quality work on a daily basis.


• Bachelor's degree in Systems, Finance and/or Accounting.


• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Corporate Finance Systems preferably Hyperion Planning.


• Highly proficient with Excel applications for financial analysis and reporting.


• Superior technical aptitude and ability to learn new technology.


• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.


• PBCS, HFM, SAP experience a plus.
