Position Overview


Assemble high quality complex products in an expedient manner.


Duties and Responsibilities


Roles & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assemble a wide variety of products requiring a high amount of skill, experience, accuracy, and print reading:


  • assemble components used to make sub-assemblies

  • install panels, card racks and sub-assemblies

  • perform detailed wiring

  • cabinet layout and wiring based on diagrams, schematics and wire lists

  • operate power and hand tools including solder irons, crimpers, drivers, wrenches, pliers, cutters, wire wrap guns, etc.

Fabricate and modifies products:


  • printed circuit boards

  • cable assemblies

  • wiring harnesses

  • wire wrap boards

  • panels and enclosures

  • cabinet sub-assemblies

  • sheet metal assemblies

Assure assemblies are complete and made to the drawing specifications.

Review, update and accurately complete all required documentation.


Skills and Experience


Preferred Skills:

Two plus years of assembly experience and ability to follow written assembly procedures, assembly drawings, wire lists and wiring diagrams.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Requires good hand and eye coordination, finger dexterity, mobility

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time

  • Must be able to distinguish and identify different components/parts colors
