This position is responsible for collaborating with cross functional commercial teams to translate insights and analytics to develop all business analytics for the company. This position will have a heavy focus on developing and monitoring the short and midterm forecast. This position will be the primary point of contact for leadership team to understand current performance, segment metrics and provide ad hoc analysis to the senior leadership as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform various statistical analyses on large data sources to answer key business questions.
• Lead the design and development of the long range revenue and demand forecasts of the Company's flagship product


• Develop and integrate various commercial analytics to inform key forecast assumptions and to provide a data-driven point of view on the impact of product and market events


• Monitor corporate forecast and provide periodical insights to ensure we stay on track to meet/exceed the forecast


• Perform sensitivity analysis against the forecast to create "what if" scenarios


• Provide strategic direction and insights to national, regional, and territory level analytics for sales and marketing to drive Heplisav-B business which may including incentive compensation design, territory alignment, targeting and other various sales tactics.


• Provide recommendations and use critical thinking to design reporting and dashboards to keep key stakeholders informed across the commercial organization.


• Partner and collaborate effectively with other commercial colleagues to provide holistic analytical insight.


• Mentor analytic junior team on sales analysis, data management/ integrity, dashboard design, and other tasks assigned


• Supports the organization in maintaining a work environment focused on quality and that fosters learning, respect, open communication, collaboration, integration, and teamwork.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related field with a minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience. of biopharmaceutical commercial operations.


• Must have proficiency in analytical tools, such as SAS, SPSS, SQL, R, MATLAB.


• Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate actionable strategic insights.


• Previous forecasting experience preferred


• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.


• A keen eye for detail.


• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast paced, multi-tasking environment.


• Experience manipulating and analyzing large datasets.
