Duties
Overview:
As the Junior Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist at Lakeland Bank you will perform clerical tasks within the Loan Operations department, such as: general clerical duties including but not limited to filing, creating new files, scanning documentation, data entry, special projects, and check back loans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update core system to reflect documents received.
- Assist with movement of loan files and other scanning jobs to Document Management area.
- Data entry.
- Looking back / review loan
- Prepare documents that require scanning.
- Creating new files.
- Scanning documents.
- Process payments received through USPS which includes, reviewing account for proper loan number, payment amount.
- Assist with primary functions within the Commercial Loan Servicing area
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1 years previous banking or mortgage loan servicing/operations or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in data entry systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional phone etiquette.
- Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customer in a professional friendly manner.
- Must be bondable.
Employment Eligibility

Scheduled Hours
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. 40 hours weekly. Overtime as needed
