The Job: Fulltime, multi-faceted, client-facing, Scientist - Assistant Project Manager - Assistant Client Account Manager with exciting career growth opportunities.
Where? Work wherever you want; ideally in New York but we will consider adjacent states. Expect travel and fieldwork throughout the Northeast and New England.
Wetlands & Ecology
Delineate aquatic resources
Conduct species surveys
Coordinate with regulatory agencies
Prepare relevant reports and permit applications
Review and edit documents prepared by peers
Erosion & Sediment
Assist with SWPPP preparation
Conduct E&S inspections
Mentor staff on E&S inspection techniques and associated client/contractor interaction
Assistant Project Manager(with PM mentorship)
Participate in Kleinfelder's project management training program
Assist withproject organization, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting
Interact with clients to determine their needs and addressconcerns
Prepare proposals
Participate in technical, cost, and scheduling decisionsfor interdisciplinary teams
Interact and build relationships with existing and potential clients
Research and gain a thorough understanding of solar regulations
Ensurethe right technical resources are applied to projects
Ensureclient and Standard of Practice quality standards are met
Permeate the Kleinfelder brand through trade organization activity, client events, and conferences
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
3 to 6 years related experience
Consulting experience
Experience independently delineating wetlands
A good grasp of technical writing
Outgoing, friendly personality
