JT&E Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) at Command Post Technologies in Suffolk, Virginia

Job Description:

Command Post Technologies is currently seeking an Operations Research Systems Analyst (ORSA) to support the Joint Interoperability through Data Centricity (JI-DC) Joint Test (JT). The JI-DC JT is sponsored by the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer for Information Enterprise (DCIO/IE). The United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) is the lead operational endorser. The JI-DC JT was chartered on February 27, 2019, under the auspices of the Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E) to develop, test, and evaluate tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) to establish and utilize a data centric environment that enables mission commanders at the operational and tactical levels to effectively collaborate and conduct operations with multi-national partners. This position is located at Suffolk, VA. Work on this JT is expected to continue until August 30, 2022.

This ORSA position will be providing insight and knowledge on test design, data collection, data management, data analysis, evaluation, and reporting related to the conduct of the JT. The ORSA will provide the expertise to test the developed TTP during JT events and provide analysis results, evaluation, and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in operations research, systems analysis, or mathematics with 8 years of experience
• Experience with data collection and analysis planning, test issue resolution, post-test data analysis, report preparation and production
• Ability to analyze operational test activities and utilize advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistical and engineering methods in determining solutions to complex problems including multivariate and logistic regression analysis, hypothesis testing, design of experiments, parametric and nonparametric procedures, and distributional analysis
• Experience developing data collection and analysis methodologies to ensure that all test data collected is of sufficient quantity, quality, and relevancy to meet test objectives
• High-level knowledge of Students-t-test, Exact Binomial Test, Exponential and Poisson distributions, F-tests, chi-square tests, power analysis, and sample size estimation
• Current Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous JT&E or operational test experience
• Experience with JMP (SAS)
