Position Overview:

This position is responsible for configuring and implementing technology solutions for all internal and external clients and prospects. These solutions will include the full scope of the client's technology needs from configuration, installation, repair and maintenance, responding in crisis and/or on a routine maintenance basis. This position is expected to continuously improve and maintain their education as well as stay current on new technology trends.

Responsibilities:

Provide regular project management communication while projects are implemented.
Set clear customer expectations in pre-project meetings.
Provide prompt response and problem resolution to any issues that result from implementation.
Participating in regular on-call rotation to support production environments.
Creating and updating network documentation/diagrams
Complete tickets in ticketing system to track time working on client issues and non-client issues, and repairs.
Implementing network security including firewalls, VPNs and PCI compliance.
Manage projects as they relate to routing, switching, wireless, voip, and security.
Identifies network problems, isolates root causes, and initiates corrective action.
Work with carriers on behalf of clients for outages, upgrades, moves.
Help develop processes to support IT services.
Assist support team with proactive/reactive tickets as an escalation resource.
Performs daily client contact via phone and email, will meet with clients or conduct work at client site regularly.
Has a desire to stay up-to-date with technology. Takes advantage of Firm provided training opportunities. Strives to stay current on professional certifications as agreed upon with manager Other duties and projects as assigned
Ability to maintain good working relationships with third party service providers and vendors.
Multi-task, problem solve, and complete all assigned duties with limited supervision.
Work in tandem with Sales to determine client's needs.
Able to conduct themselves in a professional manner with clients and internal staff.
Ability to produce high quality work, monitor own work, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Maintain and manage your schedule and communications with clients


Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years IT support experience. A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field is a plus.
Must possess Associate level certifications in two technology disciplines (Wireless, Firewalls/Security, or Switching) or be willing to complete training within first year of employment.
Must be able to sit and stand, with occasional lifting up to 50lbs.
Experience configuring, installing, and administering network hardware such as firewalls, routing/switching, wireless equipment.
Knowledge of internet services including SMTP, POP3, DNS and FTP
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Must be customer service oriented and detail oriented.
Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work efficiently multi-tasking is a fast-paced environment and with a high sense of urgency.
