The Associate position is an entry-level consulting staff position. This position requires a highly motivated problem solver with strong analytical ability and a desire to advance within the organization. The Associate will support research and writing on a wide range of industry and subject-matter intensive areas.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform detailed research and analysis including the review of various litigation-related documents.


• Synthesize and effectively summarize findings of research, verbally and in writing.


• Quality control and auditing of work product such as reports and exhibits.


• Conduct basic data analysis and data cleaning using tools such as Excel.


• Participate in a team environment and work hard to meet client deadlines and quality expectations.


• Participate in group practice meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent - an undergraduate level understanding of economics, finance, accounting, statistics, econometrics, or other related subject preferred.


• Proven capability with MS Excel and MS Word. Additional experience with Relativity, Concordance, Ringtail, Westlaw case notebook and other document management software is a plus, but not required. A desire to expand these capabilities is required.


• Experience with research software such as LexisNexis, Factiva, or JSTOR is a plus.
