We are looking for the right Capital Account Manager to manage territory within the New England region. Job Responsibilities

As a Capital Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and servicing existing customer accounts as well as developing new business. This person must be a motivated self-starter with a high degree of personal integrity and drive for success. Other responsibilities include:


  • Integrating sales and individual activity into our CRM system (Salesforce)
  • Ensuring customer commitments are executed as planned to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Creating annual business plans and sales strategies to meet company sales goals and profitability
  • Possessing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines represented by the company

Job Qualifications/Competencies

The successful candidate will have:


  • 3+ years of proven sales experience; BS in engineering or equivalent technical education preferred
  • Metalworking industry knowledge to include cutting tools, work holding, tooling, and machining processes; machine tool sales experience is beneficial
  • Strong, professional communication and presentation skills; highly detail-oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft's Office Suite and CRM software, specifically Salesforce.com
  • Ability to sell effectively to all levels of an organization
  • This position requires frequent travel throughout sales territory; up to 25% regional overnight travel

  • Ability to keep his/her composure with the public and co-workers in everyday, stressful situations.
