Solderer /Assembler 2nd Shift - Temporary

Job Purpose:

Repair and assembly of Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority.

Nature of Duties:

• Relflow and or remove and replace defective components including through-hole, surface mount, 0402, QFP, QFN, and FBGA's.


• Long periods using microscope for jumpers, fine pitch and 0402 repairs.


• Adding solder paste to individual connector pins to repair blind leads of surface mount connectors.


• Repairs faulty circuit boards per debug Technician instructions, upgrade instructions, or Purge documentation.


• Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.


• Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, and cable harnessing on assembly units.

Education and Experience:

• 6+ years experience as a Solderer / Assembler


• IPC-610, and J-Std soldering training and/or certifications recommended.


• Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, de-solder station, and BGA repair equipment.


• Must be dependable and can work independently.


• Must have attention to detail.
