Title: Janitorial General Cleaner

Hours:Saturdays & Sundays 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Pay Rate:$10.00 per hour (Will increase to $11 after 90 Days Successful Employment)

Location: HPU Campus Buildings

Responsibilities: Include any or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned by supervisor. Job description subject to change.

• The Janitorial General Cleaner cleans bathrooms, conference room, meeting rooms, space etc., vacuuming carpet, wet mopping Floors, trash removal, dusting, glass cleaning, stocking restroom supplies, soap & towel dispensers, other duties as needed. Self-motivated able to perform the duties of the job without supervision. ​Dependable and neat in appearance. ​




• Operates various types of equipment and machinery, which include wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, floor buffers, automatic scrubbers, etc.




• Assists in the completion of the workload in the absence of other service workers.




• Reports any malfunctions / maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discusses work problems and/or schedule problems with supervisor and / or management. May be required to lock and / or unlock doors. Attends training meetings and sessions as directed.
