Systems Engineer - BLQ-10

We are searching for an experienced Systems Engineer - BLQ-10 at our Manassas, VA location.

SEACORP is a veteran-founded business based in Middletown, Rhode Island. Founded in 1981, we have been providing services to the U.S. Navy for over 40 years. Our core business is providing systems, software, and hardware engineering services, as well as test and evaluation services to the Navy, chiefly for submarine electronic systems. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Test and Evaluation Support Engineer provides support to system Integration and Test (I&T) engineers in conducting of system level testing. The role will perform system stress testing and evaluation tasks and activities to include:
  • Software kit installations, system testing, find, fix, and retest (FFR) activities, and documents failure reports.
  • Maintains system testing environment, performs system operations, runs health checks and error recoveries.
  • Performs IETM procedures and reports deficiencies, supports development of system engineering documentation.
  • Tests software for functionality and sequence.
  • Support hardware installation and cabling.
  • Success in this position requires an assertive, professional, and confident attitude.

Eligibility Requirements:

Education: A Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline is required. Advanced technical training curricula packages provided to former military personnel will be considered as equivlents to a Bachelor's degree.
Experience: 5+ years experience as an BLQ-10 operator/technician is required. Knowledge or TI/APB development process. Experience with TI-10 APB-09 and newer systems. Experience in submarine electronic warfare and radio equipment, systems and programs. Knowledge of Submarine SWFTS systems interfaces with Electric Control Systems. Knowledge in FAR/DFAR hardware procurement requirements. Knowledge of Microsoft products, in particular Excel, Word, PPT. Able to identify networking issues and basic troubleshooting techniques. Candidate must be U.S. citizen able to obtain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
