Control Management (CM) maintains a strong and consistent control environment across the firm. With Control Managers appointed for each Line of Business, Function and Region, there is a comprehensive coverage and joint accountability model with the business executive that promotes early operational risk identification and assessment, effective design and evaluation of controls and sustainable solutions to mitigate operational risk.
Control Management focuses on four areas:

Role Responsibilities:
Help the business design and enhance the operating model, procedures and controls for the offering in the Global Trust & Estates (T&E) business
Becoming a trusted partner with the T&E management team
Create a proactive risk and control culture that leverages proven evaluation strategies and sound change management protocols
Review and analyze program related data (e.g., KRI/KPI) to support business-related programs and strategies
Provide leadership support for the end-to-end execution of the risk and control self-assessment, including control breaks and resolutions, to reduce financial loss, regulatory exposure, and reputational risk
Manage internal audits, compliance tests and regulatory exams on behalf of the business; provide support for pre-exam health checks
Ensure procedures are documented to effectively comply with policies and other requirements, and that procedures accurately reflect control framework
Engage with control colleagues across the firm, business, operations management, legal, compliance, risk, audit, regulators and technology control functions
Work closely with integrated controls teams, including Business Quality Assurance, Supervisory Management, and other central control functions to define the scope of monitoring and surveillance, design and implement end-to-end controls within business activities
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance preferred
Knowledge of investment products and wealth management businesses preferred
Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create and evaluate business processes for improvements inclusive of well documented risk and control self-assessment in conjunction with business partners
Intellectual curiosity and integrity and desire to learn and grow and to mentor and develop others
Strong positive attitude and team spirit
Highly organized, reliable, proactive, flexible, results- and action-oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Process Mapping)
