Job Summary:

Within the Physical Distribution network, the Continuous Improvement and Quality (CI-Q) function is fundamental to the Supply Chain Transformation journey at L'Oreal USA. This position will support the department in deploying the Continuous Improvement roadmap via the appropriate methodologies and across the NA Physical Distribution network.

This role will Support the CI-Q Manager in their goal to blend analytics with business process knowledge to make data driven decisions, propose improvements and support organizational objectives in all fields and departments that increase customer and employee satisfaction while reducing cost and waste.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the CI-Q Manager in the execution of the CI Roadmap - optimize to drive end to end process improvement, focusing on short & long-term strategies.
  • Implement, maintain and drive project standards of customer satisfaction through SQD (L'Oreal's Distribution Quality Manual) and overall performance on planning, execution with safety, quality and productivity using the necessary and appropriate methodologies. Work with department teams on the SQD program improvement plan.
  • Create standard operating procedures & develop process flow maps
  • Support the CI-Q Manager in the coordination of network strategic anticipation and planning, including budgets, trends and 3YP
  • Support the CI-Q Manager in initiative driven by the Corporate Operational Excellence Team to update and validate site master plans (see RACI matrix below).

Additional Responsibilities:

Support the CI-Q Manager in running and analyzing initiatives in:

  • Safety, Quality and Ergonomics.
  • Customer Service improvements and E2E agility
  • Training with a focus on engagement, effectiveness and adaptability of an evolving labor market
  • MANH LMS including updates in performance, standards and proposals.
  • KPI reporting and data analytics, including Cost to Server enabling business performance.
  • Site Master Plan and Business Continuity Plan of the site.

Job Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution, manufacturing or E2E Supply Chain roles
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, Powerpoint, and Power BI
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
  • Strong project management skills and a strong analytical approach to evaluating methodologies and defining best practices
  • Process excellence experience/training or certification (LEAN, EOS, Six Sigma, etc)
  • Knowledge of ERP, WMS, LMS systems preferred

Must be able to handle multiple projects and prioritize daily work loads
