The opportunity

TC Energy is evolving to meet the needs of our growing business and supporting the energy transition and we are expanding our presence in Houston, Texas.

We are seeking an engaging and motivated Innovation Advisor, in our US Gas Innovation business. This position will require a start-up mindset and being passionate about innovation in our rapidly changing energy dynamics. This position will develop and project manage innovation initiatives through the US Gas business unit. This position will report to the Manager US Gas Innovation.

What you'll do

• Participate in all aspects of an agile business by questioning the status quo and helping internal stakeholder groups to do the same, through change management


• Responsible for being a champion for innovation across the business, refining and improving, and working to increase a culture of innovation across the organization


• Lead design thinking workgroups and workshops regularly to facilitate and develop better solutions for business problems


• Collaborate with Information Services to make sure technology is being deployed in the right way and at the right time to support innovative business solutions


• Develop external partnerships and relationships, such as incubators and/or accelerators, to help drive company awareness and provide connections within TC Energy

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Marketing, Business, Finance, or Engineering


• 10 years of progressive work experience


• Experience with driving innovation initiatives


• Strong facilitation skills


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to think creatively and a desire to grow


• Experience with change management techniques


• Ability to engage, communicate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization


• Willingness and ability to work with uncertainty


• Project and/or product management experience
