YOUR ROLE
Assist Department Manager by coordinating team assignments, including staffing and materials, to maximize efficient production and quality per manufacturing order
Maintain written records of line production, efficiency, and quality. Keypunch data into computer and verify accuracy of records
Orient and train new Production Associates and assist in evaluation of employee performance appraisals
Help to ensure the safety of individuals working in the department
Line check for quality, collect and deliver samples as requested. Allocate as appropriate
Notify department manager and appropriate staff if issues exist, such as: -any issues interfering with line's ability to meet objectives -machine issues -any quality issues with output, components, and bulk
Make sure warehouse receipts match the actual for components and bulk. Inventory accuracy of product produces inputs and outputs, and accurately bar code place cards with correct information
Fill in for Line or Shift Supervisors order materials, verify inventory accuracy, participate in discipline, and supervise multiple lines as needed
Perform all other job duties as required
YOUR SKILLS As a Blow Mold Group Leader, you will:
Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Ideal candidate would have two plus years of previous, successful Blow Molding line coordinating experience
Must demonstrate strong leadership ability
Ability to work comfortably with the computer and understand programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Mapics, Kronos, etc.
Good communication skills and good math skills.
Must be able to work independently as this position is either A, B, C. or D shifts; where resources may be limited due to the nature of off shift activities and shift constraints
The position is in the factory and could involve standing, walking and lifting for long periods of time throughout the day. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 45 pounds. Must be able to reach, lift, bend and stoop without restrictions
