Primary Function of Position:
The Manager Finance Planning systems leads the team responsible for the implementation, maintenance and ongoing improvements of financial planning systems and processes. The role requires technical and creative efforts to navigate optimization of financial models, source data and systems. This role will collaborate across the finance organization, business partners and executive stakeholders throughout the company to deliver best in class financial planning systems and reporting. This role is critical in adding significant value to our financial planning process by implementing and owning a tool that will elevate our finance organization and business partner support.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Implement company-wide best-in-class financial planning tool and processes that are dynamic and fit for purpose
Deep partnership with functional teams and IT to define planning systems strategy, gather business requirements, design, develop, test, train and execute against project plans
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the planning tool is optimized for various use cases (revenue, margin, operating expenses, capital expenditures and headcount planning, etc.)
Lead and develop a team of high performing finance professionals
Ensure data integrity between systems, troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide end-user functional support and ensure systems are robust.
Develop and integrate best practices across our financial planning processes
Support and lead a culture of inclusion, diversity and collaboration the finance organization
Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of relevant finance experience
Proven experience with implementation and management of planning systems such as Anaplan, Hyperion or similar tools
Exceptional ability to manage a team effectively and deliver high-quality results that positively impact the business and improve our financial planning processes
Deep understanding of financial systems, analytical tools and languages including Anaplan, Hyperion, Tableau and SQL
Knowledge of finance related business processes and internal controls
Ability to effectively work with leadership and drive consensus across business and technical teams during design, development, testing and implementation
Ability to effectively document business processes, track and troubleshoot application issues and train end users
Exceptional verbal & written communication and business partnering skills
A value-add, business partnering mindset, with energy to strive for continuous improvement and best practice in a collaborative environment
Self-starter with a high degree of intellectual curiosity and the ability to establish clear priorities and goals;
Minimum Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics or related field; MBA and/or CPA is a plus
