We are seeking a dynamic and highly-technical thought leader to join our team as our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) based in Colorado.

Your focus is both on securing the organizations current infrastructure to include ensuring compliance with any related legislation or relevant government regulations while also being a forward thinker as it relates to the business technology planning, and future vision of technology and systems.

You will approach this critical role with fully-accountable ownership and buy in, acting with the highest levels of integrity and as an industry leader-maintaining technology and security fluency in industry trends as it affects our business. You are an innovator, leading in a way that demonstrates that effectively leverages and engages cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams to work together order to keep Poly secure from the ever-present threats.

Your day to day


  • Drive organizational strategic decision-making, system implementations, and the adoption of new processes and procedures as part of continuous evaluation and improvement of the security and robustness of the organizations infrastructure, IT projects and enterprise systems.

  • Own Poly's current data, IT and information security and any new software or hardware modifications impacting upon overall data security.

  • Leading our information security organization, including the information assurance and incident response teams in areas such as planning and execution of necessary vulnerability audits, penetration testing or forensic IT audits and investigations.

  • Overseeing security audits during the due diligence process for mergers or acquisitions.

  • Managing the budget allocations and associated financial forecasts relating to IT, data and information security, to include ensuring return on investments (ROI) in staff, hardware, software and service providers.

What you bring to the team


  • A minimum of 10 years of managing highly technical security, SOC, Incident Response teams, including staff development, training, evaluation, hiring and repurposing staff in a complex cloud environment, supporting multiple sites and a large (5-7K) employee base.

  • 10-15+ years working with common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, PCI, and NIST.

  • 10-15+ years implementing and maintaining SOC2, SOX and ITGC compliant systems

  • Strong understanding of current security regulations and legislative content, including potential risks and outcomes that may impact the company's security posture.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex security technology matters in an easy-to-understand manner to executives, teams and individual contributors across the organization.

  • Action-oriented and thrives in an environment that requires strong problem-solving skills, independent self-direction, and timely execution.

  • CISSP and |or CISM certification.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a technology-related field and a minimum of 15 years of technical professional experience, spanning infrastructure, systems engineering and cyber.
