Network Technician

Status: Full-time

Schedule:Monday - Friday

Shift:8am - 5pm (or similar hours)

Location: 25115 SW Parkway Ave. Ste. B - Wilsonville, OR 97070 (temporarily remote)

Details

The position of Network Technician reports to the IT Infrastructure Manager and is responsible for the management,maintenance, monitoring, and documentation of the company's network infrastructure as well as providing end-usersupport for network and telco/phone system related issues. This is a salaried position, with the typical work weekconsisting of 40-45 hours. Occasionally there will be large projects or unexpected emergencies, requiring you to work upto 50 hours or more in week. This position will also require traveling to remote sites to complete projects ortroubleshoot an issue, occasional overnight stays may be necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, phone, and other network devices


• Assess, diagnose, and resolve WAN, WLAN, LAN, VPN, VoIP issues


• Monitor, streamline, and maximize network performance


• Create/Update and maintain network infrastructure and procedural documentation


• Monitor and respond to network tickets


• Vendor Management


• Travel to remote sites as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field OR 2+ years performing similar job duties


• 1+ years of experience troubleshooting networks


• 1+ years providing onsite and remote support


• Valid Oregon driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient in administration of common network services (DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, etc.)


• Experience with Cisco Routing/Switching infrastructure


• Experience with Aruba Networking Infrastructure


• Experience with Cisco Meraki


• Experience with VOIP Solutions such Mitel and GoToConnect


• Experience with Active Directory


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment


• Demonstrates the capability to solve unique and complex problems by applying critical thinking


• Ability to adapt to change quickly and easily, showing willingness to learn new technologies and skills
