Job Summary: We are in search of a Senior Revenue Accountant to join us in our office in Tempa, FL. Do you love to compile and analyze financial information? Do you enjoy performing monthly revenue accounting? Are you eager to learn and grow and tackle challenges in a rapidly growing and exciting environment?

Responsibilities

• You will perform monthly revenue accounting close




• You will analyze, research and prepare monthly & quarterly variance analysis for management




• You will perform account reconciliations; investigate and resolve variances where necessary




• You will compile and analyze financial information to prepare journal entries in compliance with GAAP




• You will assist with external and internal audits, including preparing working papers for the auditors and analyzing data




• You will prepare global disclosures needed for SEC reporting




• Your role will identify and resolve process and system issues related to revenue transactions and work with Revenue Accounting SME on system-related issues




• You will successfully perform various ad hoc projects as requested

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience including accounting close and financial statement preparation with a minimum of 1+ years in a revenue role




• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and/or equivalent experience. CPA and public accounting experience preferred




• Experience with Oracle ERP and Revpro is a Plus




• Proficiency in Excel is required




• Attention to details but not overlook the big picture. Being analytical and love data analysis




• Solid knowledge of ASC 606. Able to perform contract review and document revenue accounting treatment




• Strong interpersonal skills, both orally and written. Able to communicate with all levels of personnel
