As a Systems Analyst, you will spearhead the design of a variety of projects in the Product Reliability Engineering Team. You will work with colleagues, who will support and challenge you daily. You will develop technical solutions that have a direct impact on the reliability of Visa Core Systems. The solutions you design will be large scale, always available, secure, fast, accessible, and globally ready with an impact measured in future years.

Essential Functions:

Be the ambassador for engineering best practice across the development lifecycle and champion continuous improvement across the Centre
Define solutions in terms of components, modules and algorithms
Development and Implementation of the proposed solution
Identify or develop software frameworks to be used
Refactor existing solutions to make it reusable and scalable
Leverage new technologies to build the software solution.
Provide rotational on-call support as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree


• Experience on application developmentMainframe.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field and 5 years of Software Development Experience or a Masters with 3 years of Software Development Experience or a PhD with 2 years of experience. Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL

*Experience on application development on Windows and Mainframe.

*Relational Database Management System like MySQL, MSSQL, DB2, etc.

*The ability to tackle challenges and address problems head-on

*Strong ability to collaborate

*Highly driven, inventive and results oriented

*Provide rotational on-call support as required.

Work Hours

• Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

Travel Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to travel for work less than 5% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements

• This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms, and bend or lift up to 25 pounds.

The position starts at $85,000. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus and equity
