Position Responsibilities: Verify materials to drawings and/or Bill of Materials Ensure all product is produced in a timely manner Carry out Test, Programing & Modification of Electronic Boards Read and interpret drawings, or standard work instructions Use various fixtures, hand, power and air tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair products Perform quality control visual inspections, functional operation of material and product before and after assembly Utilize problem solving and troubleshooting skills to check electronic and mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with Company Quality standards and make necessary adjustments when required Notify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions or equipment malfunctions Maintain shop equipment and perform housekeeping duties as necessary |
* Associated Degree in Electronics or Applied Science or combination of 2+ years of experience in electronic assembly and High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education level * 3+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment is required * Ability to understand and read working instructions * Have experience using Lean Tools (A3, 5Why, Fishbone diagram, etc.) is preferable * Have experience in managing the 7 Elements of Waste is preferable * Familiarity with Engineering Drawings is preferable * Ability and willingness to stand for a minimum of 10 hours per day, and lift up to 40lbs unassisted as required * Experience using hand and torque driven tools * Basic PC skills and ability to navigate programs used by the Company for training and/or communication purposes * Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions in English * Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment * High level of accuracy; keen attention to detail * A personality style that is inclusive, communicative and respects others * Recognized by peers as a contributor to achieving the daily Task * Customer focused, both internal and external * Ability to communicate effectively |
Working schedule: * Day shifts - Monday - Thursday. Willingness to work weekends if necessary.
