IC Characterization Engineer at II-VI Incorporated in San Jose, California

Job Description:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Support IC Design and Product Engineering groups by validating IC design and performance specification.
• Design support hardware and test boards.
• Write software panels to control IC hardware.
• Write Test programs for II-VI IC Bench Testers.
• Measure and collect data, analyze results and statistics of samples.
• Use IC Burn-in/HTOL stations

• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent field.
• Bachelor's degree is required, master or higher degrees preferred.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills
• Work with cross function teams within an engineering department
• Experience in hardware design (PCB). RF design a plus.
• Object oriented software development.
• IC test and characterization methodology
• Data analysis and statistics
• Instrument Automation experience
• Knowledge of I2C and SPI protocols
• Proficient in VB.NET or other object-oriented language
