Clinical Float (MA/LPN) at Central Ohio Primary Care in Westerville, Ohio

Job Description:

Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians is looking for a Medical Assistant (MA) or LPN  to join our float team! Qualified candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to our different practices throughout Central Ohio. This is a full-time position working first shift hours Monday- Friday.

 Duties/Responsibilities:

• Escorting patients to exam rooms.


• Recording patient medical, social and family history.


• Measuring patient vital signs (blood pressure, weight, height).


• Completing blood draws and injections for patients.


• Completing EKG's for patients.


• Assisting with front office duties.


• Assisting with educating patient on care-gap closures.


• Other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent.


• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or LPN in state of Ohio.


• Basic knowledge of immunizations, medications, and medical terminology.


• Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems preferred.


• Must have proficient computer skills.


• Ability to work with a variety of teams and offices.
