Job Description:

Overall Purpose: This career step requires intermediate level experience. Responsible for review and analysis of security requirements, works with senior team members to develop integrated plans to protect corporate assets and information technology, and administers security systems to support daily security operations. Assess overall security risk of systems, prioritizes and leads activities to lower AT&Ts overall security risk posture.

Key Roles and Responsibilities: Includes researching, recommending, documenting, and coordinating implementation of changes to policies, procedures, facilities, and systems to enhance security as well as developing and delivering corporate security awareness training for users and technical security training for system administrators. Facilitates compliance with company security policies, practices and legal requirements. May provide support to non-management employees, including coaching, on-the-job and formal training, reference materials, procedures and system documentation. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information. May interface with other stakeholders including vendors, application development and technical support staff, and clients. May provide inventory and asset management resources to security operation, including administrative supplies, security specific resources such as SecurID cards or cryptographic key management, and specialized security software. May perform some Cyber Security duties.

A Professional - Technology Security drives compliance to technology security standards for AT&T.  This role is perfect for a versatile team player who can manage a wide range of compliance projects and programs while ensuring that AT&T’s assets are protected.  In addition to security project management, you will own preparation for internal communications and executive presentations, program management of key initiatives including employee engagement, and special projects as assigned to support AT&T’s major compliance programs. This position will also have responsibility and accountability for OS and device patching compliance and onboarding for the AT&T technology organization and may represent the organization in providing a front door for requests that do not have a clear owner, which requires a good overall knowledge of organization functions.   Responsible for cybersecurity areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications while providing protection for AT&T, our customers and our vendors/partners.  Works with senior team members on various projects relating to the protection of devices, customers, assets, data, information technology, and networks.  Supports innovation, strategic planning, technical proof of concepts, testing, lab work, and various other technical program management related tasks associated with the compliance programs. Key Roles and Responsibilities:  Includes ideation, program management, managing difficult conversations, negotiation, and support for various compliance related projects.  Analysis, of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.  Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&T's compliance needs and that of our managed services teams.  Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.  Includes forward looking planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cybersecurity threats and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.

Required Skills:  Project management skillset. General information security knowledge (CISSP, Security First Bronze, Silver and/or Gold), Basic Cloud security knowledge for Azure and AWS, Analytical Thinking, Business Assessment, Business Orientation, Consulting,  Expertise Core Application Systems, Document Management, Managing Multiple Priorities, Process Management, Project Administration, Project Management, Systems Thinking
