Business Project Senior Analyst - Legislation Tool Analysis and Maintenance - Work from home at Cigna in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Job Description:

This position will support and positively impact the performance of the Contracts and Legislation team. Specifically, this is a leadership role to assist in the daily operations by ensuring consistency in process and workflow while maintaining standard policies and procedures aimed at improving overall operational performance and compliance. This role will serve as the subject matter expert and business partner contact for compliance. This role is responsible for analyzing, recording and maintaining compliance records used by multiple areas of the company.

Responsibilities Include:

Leadership:

-Act as a compliance expert for Contracts and Legislation initiatives in a way that maintains or enhances operational Service, Productivity & Quality while fully meeting initiative objectives

-Contribute to business solutions/ideas for improvement

-Ensure workflow consistency among teams and across platforms to the extent possible

-Recommend process improvement to positively impact the quality and timeliness of Contracts/Legislation teams

-Develop innovative ideas for driving departmental results

-Serve as a business and technical resource for Tech Coaches and Management

-Develop a foundational understanding of Contracts and Legislation functional tools and processes, related goals and objectives and operational business workflows

-Resolve issues/mitigate risks in a timely manner with a sense of urgency

-Facilitate effective and timely decision making on key initiatives

-Communicate initiative status regularly, at appropriate level of detail for intended audience(s) including leadership

Business Partner Liaison:

-Serve as Contracts/Legislation subject matter expert (SME)/Consultant for Compliance, Implementation and other service partners

-Partner with the Compliance Team to ensure that mandates are communicated, understood, and implemented timely and accurately within the legislation tool

-Collaborate with and influence/motivate matrix partners to identify and complete actions and reach goals/targets that support Compliance in a timely manner with quality

-Ensure effective meetings through strong facilitation, planned agendas, and communication of key decisions and action items/next steps

Policies and Procedures:

-Provide clarification and direction on the appropriate application of specific protocols and Standard Operating Procedures as they relate to Contracts and Legislation

-Ability to identify global trends related to systems and benefits to Management for training, coaching or other types of action plan development.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment required

-Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a specific initiative with limited support

-Strong written and oral communication skills

-Technical experience with high level of proficiency on Legislation/Compliance processes preferred

-Ability to work within matrix partner environment

-Proficiency in Systems and Applications, including but not limited to ePro, Leg tool, Access, Word and Excel

-Ability to create SOPs and Job Aids that provide clear instructions

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
