Position Description
The Surgical Technologist under the direction of the Registered Nurse assists with patient care of pediatrics to older adults. Demonstrates knowledge of surgical procedures, techniques, and equipment required in the Operating Room. Creates and maintains an aseptic surgical environment under the direction of the circulating nurse.
Position Requirements- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Graduate of state approved school for practical nurses and currently licensed as a LPN in the state of Georgia or Certified Surgical Technologist program
- OR
- Previous experience as Surgical Technologist
- CPR certification
License/Certification Requirements: No
Work Hours: 7a-5p
Weekend Requirements: No
On-Call Requirements: No
