PA's Energy and Utilities sector is currently looking for a US-based Managing Consultant to bring sector insights and support the development of our business in Transmission & Distribution asset management and operations. This is the ideal role for you if you have a background in planning, engineering, operations and maintenance with specific knowledge of smart grid/grid modernization technologies and implementation, reliability and resiliency strategies, IT/OT initiatives and resource management. You will also deliver insights in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, data analytics and the latest application of these initiatives by electric utilities.

Position Description:

The responsibilities for this role include:

• Develop business propositions and take to market smart grid/grid modernization, data analytics, reliability and resiliency, AI, machine learning and asset management including supply chain and staffing strategies.


• Leverage industry relationship network to open doors for cost optimization, reliability improvement, and asset management opportunities


• Provide expertise on sector related technology developments including smart grid, AI, and machine learning initiatives


• Enhance business propositions across the utility value chain and infrastructure space


• Work closely with PA's information technology and AI resources to expand PA's brand in the utility industry


• Contribute to T&D benchmarking and performance improvement offerings including process reengineering and cost optimization


• Manage client expectations and relationships


• Enhance and contribute to propositions, supporting business development and thought leadership activities.

What we're looking for

• Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred; however, strong candidates with a Bachelor's degree and comprehensive industry knowledge will be considered.


• 10+ years of utility Transmission & Distribution experience, utility management experience, or consulting experience in the space.


• Ability to leverage industry network and open doors for PA
