Job Highlights
Monitor and track all domestic and/or international shipments to assure "On Time Delivery" of all product
Ensuring shipping and related documentation are in compliance with regulatory before issuing
Generate shipping documents including BOL, Commercial, Pro forma invoices, and SDS
Transact inventory receipts and dispatches to and from domestic inventory locations as shipped
Monitor and communicate discrepancies regarding logistics policies and procedures around customer deliveries and special requirements
Scheduling outbound traffic
Ensure proper resolution to shipping damages, including product replacement, incident handling and escalation to appropriate departments
Analyze delivery costs and customer ordering patterns, request quotes from Odyssey or Freight Forwarder for customer service or sales if requested, obtain carrier routes to be added to master data for new customer locations if noted
Understand / utilize effective problem solving and root cause analysis as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or in progress), Business, Logistics preferred or combination of education (Associates degree) and past experience
3-5 years of relevant experience
Ability to contribute to the company's overall strategic direction and goals
Ability to show initiative and make suggestions for process improvement
