Journeyman Security Specialist/Foreign Disclosure

We are seeking a Journeyman Security Specialist/Foreign Disclosure to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) located in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia.

This effort will assist in creating a network of likeminded allies and partners with increased threat reduction capabilities that contribute and advance the interests and security of the United States of America. It will assist in building strategic relationships with key international partners that enhance threat reduction on a global scale. And, it will also support the resilience of the global nonproliferation framework by building partner capacities to enforce the tenants of that framework.

Description:

The Journeyman Security Specialist/Foreign Disclosure will provide support for technical writing and editorial review to ensure the quality of reports, presentations, briefings, graphics, videos, and any similar documents or materials.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

• Ensure the material meets the standards in any official operating manuals or specified procedures required to be used and/or provided by the customer.


• Provide appropriate mechanisms to ensure document quality control, accurate content, and timely submission.

  • Responsibilities include handling CTR foreign disclosure reviews, classification reviews, FIOA requests.
  
  
  
  


• May conduct analysis and facilitate release requests for Classified Military Information and Controlled Unclassified Information to support US government information/intelligence sharing requirements.


• May facilitate foreign visit requests, foreign disclosure training, Defense Personnel Exchange requests/requirements, review of technology, TTPs, education/course material, and operational/intelligence products.


• May draft, develop, maintain, and/or revise government documents as needed in support of program.

• Assist with proposal development, if necessary.


• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) to ten (10) years' related experience.
• Experience with personnel reliability programs or with customs, coast guard, or border guard security operations, tools, techniques, tactics, and procedures related to detection and prevention of WMD proliferation desired.
  

Education:

• BA/BS or MA/MS.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

• Must be able to effectively communicate with customer and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be capable of working independently with no oversite.

Security Clearance:

• Secret security clearance.
  • Top Secret security clearance highly desired.

US Citizenship: This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
