ROLE SUMMARY

The Caliber program is seeking a top talent to lead the product development and rollout of the strategic billing system for Wholesale Payments. This is a senior product owner role with managerial responsibilities and high levels of visibility.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIERS

Primary responsibilities include:


  • Product Owner for the Wholesale Payments strategic billing platform
  • Attract, hire, develop and lead product team and junior staff members

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Provide leadership to the Caliber program as Product Owner for the strategic billing platform
  • Partner closely with Caliber program stakeholders to support needs of the broader transformation
  • Work closely with the organization's senior management to both make decisions about individual initiatives and determine overall team strategy
  • Facilitate strong relationships with stakeholders and leadership across functional organizations, and develop partnerships with business stakeholders, product teams, operations, and technology teams to deliver on Wholesale Payments pricing and billing transformation initiatives
  • Influence internal stakeholders on key business decisions and change efforts-developing strong, trusted advisor relationships with key partners to drive consensus on business requirements

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have previously operated in a senior product owner role. Candidates will not be considered without background experiences that highlight these skills and will be expected to demonstrate these skills through recruiting process.


  • Product ownership at a large financial institution
  • Experience leading product teams using Agile framework
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to present complex issues with simplicity to internal and external business partners
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal skills, with an ability to communicate business and technical concepts to both expert and novice audiences.
  • Intellectual curiosity to make our firm better with excellent communicator skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years in product management
  • Proficiency with Agile frameworks and demonstrated experience leading product teams using the Agile methodology
  • Command of the product management lifecycle with demonstrated experience in product execution roles (e.g., strategy development, current state analysis, solution design, business and data architectures, business requirements documentation, technical requirements, product testing, rollout, project management)
  • Previous cross-functional experience across JPMC, or similarly sized financial institution, including day-to-day interactions with stakeholders in Product, IT, Operations, Finance, Transformation and Commercialization / Go-to-Market across LOBs
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence priority and importance of initiatives from fact-based business case rationale
  • Provider of thought leadership through systems thinking, critical analysis and superior relationship building
  • Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over all resources
  • Exceptional presentation skills with experience developing and delivering compelling Power Point presentations that "tell a story" and enable decisions to be made
  • Self-starter with the ability to solve problems creatively and deliver results while working in a dynamic, collaborative, and challenging environment
  • Experience managing and delivering complex projects in large organizations with dedicated project management experience a plus
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills needed for working in a team environment and with cross-functional teams in multiple global locations
  • Experience implementing 3rd party applications strongly preferred
  • Experience with Pricing and Billing applications strongly preferred
  • Experience with Wholesale Payments with working knowledge of Treasury Services business strongly preferred
  • Experience at large financial institution or financial technology companies strongly preferred
  • Experience in B2B payments and domain specific experience in Pricing and Billing strongly preferred
