Overview

Manage and direct accounting for the North America businesses to including Planning, Forecasting, General Accounting, Cost Accounting, Inventory Control, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Capital and Expense Budgetary Controls, Internal Controls, and management External Audit/Internal Audit work for our Wholesale, Retail, and E-com businesses in a multi-brand environment.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements


  • BSBA - Accounting

  • 10-15 years of progressive experience as a Controller

  • Wholesale and 50+ Multi store retail industry experience

  • Demonstrated complex data systems exposure

  • Strong analyst; budget/process; forecast; business decision support and business partner

  • Strong experience related to wholesale manufacturing inventory/cost


Preferred Skills and Industry experience :

  • CPA or MBA degree

  • Strong (POS) Systems; SAP or MI9 a plus

  • Operational grounding or interest

Other Requirements

Domestic travel 25%

International travel 0-5%

Responsibilities


  • Partner with Executive management and cross-functionally to provide leadership of the US Wholesale, US Retail, E-Commerce and Canada businesses with critical financial information, insight, and analysis to support and execute various strategic plans

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, forecasts and planning data along with preparing the proper analysis and presentations.

  • Lead month end closing process by preparing and/or reviewing all ledger input for monthly close. Analyze key P&L and balance sheet accounts. Ensure timely delivery of financial statements and other reporting.

  • Drive process improvement through internal controls, system integrity, internal reporting, and all other processes.

  • Leads day to day financial organization with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on adding value to the business. Mentors and coaches' team to achieve organizational and department goals.

  • Partner with internal teams to drive margin control and analysis, sales allowance and budget control, inventory control and analysis.

  • Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by senior management and Corporate finance.
