ServiceNOW Portal Developer at Cognizant in Sunnyvale, California

Job Description:

Cognizant is seeking a strong ServiceNow Portal Developer for an immediate need. This is a client-facing role & the candidate will have regular interactions with various client managers. 

“Remote Candidates will be considered, however must be willing to relocate post Covid”

 

Job Description :  

• Proficient in AngularJS. Executed atleast 2+ Projects with AngularJS as the front-end technology. 


• Excellent knowledge of CSS3, ability to extend from existing CSS SASS frameworks. 


• Very good knowledge of ServicePortal and how it maps to AngularJS. Should be able to write and maintain custom AngularJS directives, widgets, controllers.


• Good to have knowlege of ServiceNow platform, Server side architecture. 


• Experience in writing highly performant Web Applications and an eye for detail. 

 

Roles and responsibilities: 

• Work on building new UI interfaces from scratch from mockups. 


• Work on maintaining existing Apps build on ServicePortal and AngularJS. 


• Work with QA team to make sure all the defects are fixed and the final product is ready for customer release. 


• Work on radars and deliver them within the project timelines. 


• Highlight risks/concerns to client leads. 


• Provide deployment instructions


• Detailed documentation of the functionality through code and also in the internal Project management tools.
