Looking for Civil Tech/CDL Class A Driver in Roselle, IL

What you will be doing as a Civil Tech/CDL Class A Driver:

• Operate heavy machinery as needed (trencher, excavator, skid steer, CDL truck and trailer, ground heater, ground tester, multi­meter).
• Use conduit bender, electrical meters, core drill, threader, and fiber tester.
• Read and understand prints associated with the jobsite.
• Effectively and efficiently complete assigned tasks.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE (personal protection equipment).
• Proficient in concrete finishing methods.
• Develop lay out plans for each job.
• Document job progress in photographs needed for deliverables package.
• Understand and comply with DOT regulations.
• Provide required paperwork and documentation regarding work practices on-site as well as achievement of production milestones.
• Use locators.
• Manage job timelines, schedules, and subcontractors thoroughly and consistently.
• Submit daily job paperwork and closeout documentation for each job.
• Identify when help is needed to accomplish completion in a timely manner.
• Communicate with customer representatives and others who show up on-site.

What you will bring to table as a Civil Tech/CDL Class A Driver:

• Must have a valid Class A CDL License
• 6 months to 1-year related experience and/or training.
• Able to obtain DOT health card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
• Able to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance.
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, climb and/or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
• Able to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
• Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
