Job Description:
Location: Wheeling, IL
Description: Our client is currently seeking a Software Engineering Manager
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
Minimum of BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree.
5+ years of managing software development teams.
Hands on experience with software development and architecture of applications (Windows, browser applications, C++ / C#).
Technical knowledge in software architecture (e.g. SOA, client/server, microservices).
Experience in managing Agile programs. SAFe Agile experience is a plus.
Experience with software life cycle management and process.
Experience with software life cycle management and process.
Ability to work collaboratively with global multi-disciplined teams.
Strong communication skills.
Problem solving competence.
PMP or Certified Scrum Master is a plus.
Experience working with customers is a plus.
Experience working with 3rd party software vendors is a plus.
Building automation / IoT / Cloud applications experience is a plus.
