Job Description:

Cardno is seeking an Ecological Restoration Project Manager to implement and manage restoration construction work in the ecological restoration fields. This position requires estimating project budgets, interpreting construction plans/ specifications, management of subcontractors, client management, ensuring projects are built successfully on time and under budget, and adherence to Cardno's Health and Safety culture.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

> Overseeing ecological restoration projects as a Project Manager and working closely with other Project Managers to implement projects

> Managing the overall budget

> Procurement of materials and equipment

> Managing construction schedule throughout duration of project

> Managing subcontractors

> Working with Operations Manager and other Project Managers for staffing needs

> Conducting and attending preconstruction meetings, progress meetings, and other meetings as needed with clients and staff

> Conducting administrative duties such as producing project schedules, schedule of values, pay applications, RFP's, change orders and construction reports as needed
> Adhering to corporate policies, operate through the proper management channels, and act in the best interest of firm

> Minimal out of town travel

Qualifications:
> Bachelor's Degree or higher
> Minimum 4 years of experience in similar role
> Proficient at administrative duties associated with managing a construction project - schedule of values, daily reports, change orders and RFP's
> Good oral and written communication with clients and staff

> Experience with ecological restoration techniques
> Ability and willingness to work in the field, often in strenuous conditions
> Experience managing large, complex projects
> Must hold a valid driver's license

Technical Requirements:

> Wetland and stream mitigation/restoration experience
> Knowledge of environmental/ecological field restoration techniques

Desired Qualifications:
> Ability to identify and cultivate new client relationships
> Certification in stormwater/erosion control or other professional license
> Hazwoper, First Aid/CPR, or Applicators license
> Certification in construction management
> Self-motivated, strong initiative
> Strong communication skills, both written and oral
