Position Summary: Responsible for having knowledge and understanding to read and interpret wiring and ladder logic diagrams and apply to the assembly, wire routing, and connections on the electrical control panel assemblies for all commercial products. The prerequisite for this position is meeting the certification requirements for the Commercial Assembler/Trainer. Additionally, this position is responsible for training and performing all assignments within classification and flexibility to work in any department assigned as business needs change and require.

Position Responsibilities:
DFT Certification in all stations defined in this job classification.
Capable of reading wiring schematics (wire diagrams, ladder logic, OMS point-to-point) and utilizing knowledge in applying to the assembly and wiring of control panels for all Commercial products.
Knowledge and ability to read, interpret, and follow all work instructions, step drawings, and Operational Method Sheets
Ability to efficiently perform following work functions: general assembly, general brazing, testing, and inspection in conformance with work instructions, step drawings, and Operational Method Sheets
Lifting of components/sub-assemblies and installation into assemblies manually or with use of hoist
Installation of components/sub-assemblies with the use of appropriate equipment, hand tools, and power tools(wrenches, screw driver, pneumatic and/or cordless electric screw guns, various others)
Competence to effectively Train in all required and certified operations utilizing the TWI process (Training Within Industry)
Maintain good housekeeping and safe work environment in all workstations by strictly adhering to 5S standards and procedures
Strict adherence to all Quality inspection and process standards including but not limited to Verification, Total Quality Checks, and Touch for Quality
Troubleshoot units to determine and resolve basic issues with system leaks, basic electrical issues, and assembly problems
Position Qualifications
Requirements:
Aptitude to read, understand, and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, step drawings, and Operational Method Sheets
Ability to read, write and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form
Self-starter and able to work efficiently with little direct supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Capability to effectively train others
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred:
Prior experience and knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical components
Prior knowledge and understanding of wiring diagrams and ladder logic diagrams
Skillset and experience brazing copper assemblies with full compliance to quality standards
TWI Trainer Certification
Knowledge and understanding of HVAC system operation and basic electrical systems/components
